an inclusive community built together
Thank you for your support during the 2021 Election Campaign! I am deeply humbled and so very grateful for the wonderful support that came flooding in during the campaign! While I did not earn a seat this term, I have learned so much, and have met so many wonderful people that this was certainly a personal win for me!
I will continue to volunteer within the community and will do my best to advocate for visible and invisible minorities. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if there is anything I can do to help advocate for you during the next four years.
With a full heart and gratitude. Thank you.
Care for our Green Spaces
St. Albert is a beautiful botanical city full of trees and greenery that all residents can enjoy. As we have discovered throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, living in outdoor green spaces is good for our mental and physical wellbeing. I support the city in maintaining the green spaces, parks, trails and leisure spaces to maintain and provide outdoor opportunities for residents now and in our post-pandemic times.
As a highly creative community, I support the arts in our city. Public input on public art is required and needs to be thought provoking and resonate with the community.
Inclusion and Diversity
Inclusion for all races and cultural identities will only strengthen our city. Ensuring our city is accessible for disabled individuals is a must. Encouraging acceptance for all gender and non-gender conforming citizens to create a wholesome and well-rounded community for all.
As part of city council, I will endorse the trend to continue to push the tax ratio towards non-residential in order to keep our residential taxes from increasing. I will encourage minimizing spending in areas where possible while maintaining the high level of service that St. Albertans have come to appreciate and expect. Looking for ways to increase business to support our local economy is valued along with public input for needs and desires of the public.
How Can You Help?
Let’s make all voices heard to create a more inclusive community we are all proud to call home.
